Recently I travelled to the U.S to attend the 2017 CEDIA conference. It was incredible to meet with some of the biggest and brightest names out there, but more importantly to see what the future of technology and home integration has in store for us. Let’s just say, it’s gonna be a hot damn 2018. The upcoming industry trends for 2018 have one thing in common: instant gratification. Can it pause, play, (juice a smoothie) and show off, all at the same time? If the answer is yes, then you’re on the money. We call it ‘integrated systems’. The world demands it. And yes, we do it. We always have. My mentor, Rich Green, always taught me to “follow the content.” This means, keep it slick, keep it cool and keep giving the market what it wants. If you want to network with the high ballers out there, you have to stay on the pulse of change. So, Cedia 2017 got me thinking: has my business really lived up to the demands of the industry, globally? Does BNC keep its clients in the know and on trend?
When I began this business, I began it on one ethos alone: to provide cutting edge convenience.
