This project was a standout achievement for our team, transforming a compact room within an existing home in Houghton into a fully immersive luxury home cinema. The brief was to create a dedicated space for movies and gaming that felt elegant and uncluttered, with every piece of technology concealed within the room.

KING CINEMA
We found ourselves in Johannesburg – on the avenue – with an abundance of creative opportunity beckoning us forward. Mr King wanted to create something meaningful: a bedrock of entertainment to inspire his family and his community; a space that united loved ones; a space that praised the goodness of life; a space that elevated their joy.
With only 13 weeks to create something plush, lush and luxurious in time for Christmas, we set our sights on a cinema room that would meet Mr King’s vision – and leave a lasting impression for anyone that experienced it.

This client’s goal was to have a multipurpose space that was suitable for a young family. The room in the house was located next to the outdoor entertainment area, by the pool. it was Initially designed as a TV room, so the client could watch content while overseeing his kids, but, at night, or when the family wanted to transform the space, It needed to be turned Into an Immersive media room.

HOUSE CORAL ROAD
In 2016, our client approached us, ready to take his journey to creating his dream home cinema. We explored his home cinema scaping options. Our expert team of designers invited him to a private viewing of our showroom cinema, to give him the full experience. Every whim, desire and tiny detail was presented to the client.
While he was extremely impressed by what we had presented and what he experienced, the timing was off. He did not want to let the enthusiasm get in the way of his strategy, so he waited until the time was right. Two years later, we got the phone call to say his new home was being built and the one requirement for the new house was the BNC home cinema.
