We’re incredibly proud to have already been recognised by CEDIA on a number of occasions. And most recently, CEDIA has announced that our Johannesburg showroom has made the shortlist for another award!
We are overjoyed to be bestowed with such a great honour that only a select few top-level companies are given. As the official global trade association, CEDIA recognises industry leaders and encourages the use of best practice in design, manufacturing, and integration of technology in the home, carefully choosing only a handful of extraordinary designs that stand out from the rest.
Our showroom serves as an immersive example of our innovative work with industry-leading automation and audio-visual technology, and we’re thrilled that CEDIA has chosen to recognise it. There’s More!
Our luxurious cinema experience took us on a journey through Johannesburg and we found ourselves at House King’s door. This bespoke project called for a deluxe design for an elegant entertainment space with an exclusive touch. To capture the clarity of video and audio, we installed a 300cm screen with a crisp acoustic operating system.
Our client and collaborators agree that House King has been a resounding success, and we’re honored that CEDIA thinks so, too. CEDIA’s golden standards set the tone for high-quality design, and the King installation made the shortlist against global competition and thousands of intricate and elegant installations. We are so delighted that our lavish cinema design upheld CEDIA’s strict criteria for luxury, professionalism, and craftsmanship!
New on the BNC Block
House Haff Headlines: From Casual Dining to Deluxe
Dr. H called us into his office with a challenge to transform his enclosed dining area into a one-of-a-kind luxury theatre! He and his family were looking for way to escape the hustle and bustle of life, and the intimate space was intended to serve close family with quality time together, watching movies, listening to music, and enjoying the game, without having to leave the house.
Our team took it on and produced a sleek design that made the most of the room’s natural light (in spite of the challenges the environment presented). The result was a state-of-the-art home theatre with an impressively-sized screen that ensured the best possible picture clarity, and fantastic acoustics for the ultimate auditory impact.
Dr. H. and his interior designer gave us a guide on the colour scheme and finishing touches for the room’s luxurious feel, and BNC chose to display the mirror system’s image onto a colossal projection screen, concealed behind a false wall, to maximise the aesthetic and ensure intimacy. We’re incredibly proud of this project, and we know that our client and his family will be able to enjoy many moments of magic together in their one-of-a-kind entertainment space. He’s cool. He’s hip. And he’s got fine design down! We’re talking about Thato, our new Junior Interior Architect, and while he may be young, we wouldn’t dare underestimate him, because he is clued up!

Chesney is our new Sales Executive, who’s loud and sassy nature keeps us all on our toes (and the office in stitches!).
